About this tool
A simpler way to prepare PAN application images
NSDL Photo Resize is an independent browser-based utility for preparing photo and signature files for PAN application uploads. Crop an image, adjust its dimensions, and save a JPEG without installing editing software.
Open the PAN photo resizerWhat the PAN photo resizer does
This PAN card photo resizer helps you prepare a photograph or signature image with adjustable width, height, and resolution. It includes practical presets for common image types, an interactive crop preview, and portal-specific JPEG size limits. Choose the NSDL/Protean or UTIITSL preset to load its photo or signature dimensions, resolution, and file-size limit. You can use the same tool whether you searched for an NSDL photo resize, a UTI photo resize, or a PAN card signature resizer.
Select a JPG, PNG, or WebP from your device, adjust the crop, review the output, and download the result. The image is processed in your browser; it is not uploaded to this website, and your original file is left unchanged.
Independent and privacy-conscious
This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Protean, NSDL, or UTIITSL. Names of application services are used only to describe where applicants may need image files. Portal rules can change or vary by application type, so confirm the latest dimensions, file format, resolution, and size limits on the official portal before uploading.
The tool prepares image files only. It does not submit a PAN application, store documents, validate personal details, or guarantee that an image or application will be accepted.
